Fall River Forfiet

Unfortunately, on a bright warm spring morning the Fall River team could not play us, and forfeited the game. The team lost their coach and 5 players to a ‘club’ team just before the start of the season. The FRYS director called to apologize and promised us a friendly match later in the season. The u10 boys’ team must now reorganize and find some new recruits for the team.
I personally think it was an awful example the coach set for the players no matter how difficult the situation might have been. It would have been much better to have stuck out the season and made the change to the club after the season was over.
