DR1 goes to the Futsal Final

We should every proud of the improvement the DR1 team has showed this Futsal season. We have been not running practices in order to play futsal (we are an outside soccer team afterall) but the boys really showed they have caught onto the style of the indoor game with good decisions and footwork.
We were sleepy through the first game of the tournamnet and were lucky to escape with a tie game for 1 point. The second game was a differnt story with intense play throughout the 30 minute game. We beat a very good Bayside team giving us the 3 points needed to make it into the final.
All reports, back to me from both sides, were that the players gave it their all in the final championship game and played to a 3-5 final score (where was the Coach Robert anyway?)
